Enquiries from your website
Messages people send through your site's contact form. For most small businesses this is the only number on the dashboard that matters — a website exists to produce these.
Where they are
On each project's page, under Enquiries from your website. Per site, not one shared list, because "how is the Madurai branch doing" is a different question from "how is the business doing".
What arrives
Whatever your form asks for — usually name, email or phone, and a message. Unread ones are marked. Open one to read it in full and see when it came in.
Download all as CSV gives you the lot for a spreadsheet, your CRM, or your accountant.
The form works the moment you publish
No setup, no third-party form service, no API key. Deploy the site and the form collects. Before you publish, a submission in the preview is deliberately swallowed — a test message should not look like a real customer.
Phone numbers and AI assistants
If you have connected ChatGPT or Claude, they can ask about your enquiries. They are told how many arrived, how many are unread, and the message text — but never a visitor's phone number. Those are stripped before anything leaves Laabam.site.
That is deliberate and not configurable. A phone number on a small business site is somebody's actual contact detail, and it belongs in your dashboard rather than in a third party's chat logs. You read those here.
Replying
Reply from your own email or phone, as you would to any enquiry. Laabam.site does not send on your behalf — a reply from a platform address is worse than one from you.
Not getting any?
Worth checking in order:
- Is the site published? A draft collects nothing. See Publishing.
- Is it findable? New sites start hidden from Google on purpose. Turn on Found on Google when you are ready.
- Does the form work? Open your live address and send one yourself.
- Are people arriving at all? Site traffic on the project page. No visits is a different problem from visits that do not convert — the first is reach, the second is the page.
Visits
Daily visits for the last week and your busiest pages, on the same project page.
Read it as a floor, not an exact count. Repeat views within a minute are not counted and known bots are excluded, so the real number is a little higher. It is labelled "visits" rather than "visitors" for that reason.
