# The build page

Where a website is made and changed. Chat on the left, your site on the right.

## The chat

Describe what you want in plain words. Not a prompt — a brief. "Make the heading shorter", "the menu prices are wrong, here are the right ones", "use a warmer colour". It revises the site you have rather than starting again.

**Before the first build** it asks two questions: what you sell, and the one thing you want a visitor to do. Answer them. Without them it is guessing, and a guess costs a build.

**Build history** above the chat lists every build. Open one to see the nine steps and what each agent did.

## Preview / Code

Two tabs above the site.

**Preview** is the real page, live. The three icons switch between desktop, tablet and phone — check the phone view before you publish, because most of your visitors will be on one.

**Code** shows every file the AI wrote, with syntax highlighting. It is **part of a paid plan** — on a free or trial account you will see a padlock that links to Billing. Same for **Download .zip**.

## Deploy

**Deploy N new changes** publishes what you have to your public address. The count is how many changes are waiting. Until you press it, the preview is yours alone.

## Share

Gives you a link to the current preview to send to someone for an opinion, without publishing.

## Download .zip

Every file, as a zip. Yours to host anywhere — there is no lock-in. **Paid plans only.**

## Review & Improve

Runs a check over the finished site — SEO, accessibility, broken links, missing meta tags — and lists what it found. Some items it can fix itself. This spends credits, because it is AI work.

## Autopilot

Off by default. On, it watches for problems and fixes small ones without asking. Worth leaving off until you trust the site.

## Buy domain / Your domain

## Hire an agent

Books a human. For when the AI has gone as far as it usefully can and you want a person to finish it.

Credits are spent by **AI work**, not by using the dashboard. Looking at things never costs anything.

## The status badge

Top right. **DRAFT** until you deploy, then **DEPLOYED**. A site can be deployed and still hidden from search — those are two different switches, see [Publishing](/guide/publishing).
